The Short Version

Zoebox runs entirely on your Mac. We don't collect any data. We don't have servers. We don't track you.

What Data We Collect

None. Zoebox has no user accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, and no crash reporting. Everything stays on your machine.

What Stays on Your Mac

• Service data (databases, caches) — stored in ~/.local/share/zoebox/
• Downloaded images — cached in ~/.cache/zoebox/
• App preferences — stored in macOS defaults

We never access, upload, or transmit any of this data.

Cookies & Tracking

We do not use cookies or any tracking technologies on this website. We do not track you across the web, serve personalized advertising, or sell your data to anyone.

Hosting

This website is hosted on CloudFlare for CDN and security. CloudFlare may process technical data (like IP addresses) for security and delivery purposes. See their privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Network Connections

Zoebox (the app) makes network requests only when you explicitly start a service:

• Container registries (e.g., Docker Hub) — to download service images you request
• Update checks — to zoebox.io to check for app updates (can be disabled in Settings)

All services run on localhost (127.0.0.1) and are not accessible from other devices.

Third-Party Services

When you download a service image, that request goes to the container registry (typically Docker Hub). Their privacy policy applies to that interaction, not ours.

Children's Privacy

Zoebox is a developer tool. We don't knowingly market to or collect data from children under 16.

Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

Since we don't collect personal data, there's nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you uninstall Zoebox and delete ~/.local/share/zoebox/ and ~/.cache/zoebox/, all traces are gone.
